SUNDAY SALSA SOCIAL WITH DJs LUBI & JANE SALSALDI

After a nice and busy “Sunday Salsa Social” in February, we are back at Revolucion De Cuba Manchester on Sunday 18th March for the third party of 2018.

DJs are residents DJ Lubi Jovanovic (Rev De Cuba MCR/Leeds + Calle Ocho Leeds) and DJ Jane Salsaldi (Rev De Cuba MCR/Nottingham/Liverpool + Salsaldi Events) aka “The A-Team” 🙂

The Revolucion De Cuba monthly Salsa Social is now 2.5 years old and one of the most consistent Sunday salsa sessions up north with a strong following of 120-150 dancers. A proper Sunday salsa social strictly for the dancers. NO dance classes or live band and definitely no reggaeton, Spanish pop or Latin house (that’s for the weekly Wednesday nights), just loads of quality salsa/mambo/son and a touch of bachata and cha cha cha. Sunday Salsa Socials are strictly for dancing for the dancers.

Music played is all salsa styles old and new….NYC salsa, Colombian salsa, Puerto Rican salsa, Cuban salsa. Venezuelan salsa, African salsa……salsa dura, salsa clasica, salsa romantica, salsa moderna….plus a touch of bachata, timba, mambo, cha cha cha and son Cubano.

A small cover charge is in place of just £3 so we can maintain the purely salsa policy and keep the monthly session for the dancers without relying on bar take to cover costs (like Wednesday nights).

Doors 7pm. Curfew 12 midnight. Free car parking from 8pm around the venue.

Get down early and grab some tasty food as it’s 2-for-1 on all tapas all day Sundays. ALSO 2-for-1 deals on ALL cocktails on Sundays, including nice “mocktails” (non-alcohol cocktails).

PLEASE buy a few of these lovely cocktails and help the bar make some money and please try not drink too much free tap water. Although we charge a small entry price to cover the DJs, promotion and box office costs, the bar need to cover their costs too. Thanks.
