Leeds’ longtime jazz/soul/global beats promoter Lubi Jovanovic (DIG Family/Soul Rebels Sessions/RE:SOUL) brings another great show into Brudenell Social Club Community room.

Têtes De Pois are a young 7 piece Leeds band playing jazz with fused with soul, Latin rhythms and afrobeat. Formed three years ago at Leeds College Of Music and part of the Tight Lines musical family, they’ve already released 2 EPs and a single, completed extensive UK tours, supported the likes of Ezra Collective/Fatima/Soweto Kinch in Leeds and played major festivals like “A Love Supreme”, “Manchester Jazz Festival” and “World Islands”. Tonight, they launch their latest single as a taster for the debut album coming in spring 2020.

Support from Leeds College Of Music final year fusion kings, the one and only Shaku. They bring together jazz, prog, funk, blues, soul and psyche under one very crazy musical roof which they call “frog rock”. Great live band who always bring the unexpected to their live shows.

Opening act is The Young Wizard, London rapper/MC/ beatmaker of quality jazzy hip-hop music. As well as spitting sick bars, he’s a boss keyboard player who played with bands like Necktr, B-ahwe and TC & The Groove Family during his time studying in Leeds. This show features his live hip-hop band.
