RE:SOUL x SUNDAY JOINT

Leeds’ premier jazz/soul/hip-hop live music jam session and showcase RE:SOUL celebrates it’s 4th birthday with a special takeover of Sunday Joint at the Hifi Club Leeds on Sunday 22nd September for the live music part of the night. Featuring an all star house band made up of musicians from some of Leeds top jazz/soul/global beats bands (Têtes de Pois, Slow Lorris, The Sugar Rays), they will have some specially invited guest singers, musicians and MCs from Leeds’ current vibrant DIY jazz/beats scene jamming with them.

Opening up the night are rising stars Narcle, one of Leeds top hip-hop jazz/neo-soul bands.

The night is promoted and hosted by a true Leeds jazz/soul/global music legend, DJ Lubi (Soul Rebels Sessions/DIG Family), who’ll also be playing music before and between bands. At 11pm, after the live music ends, the also legendary Sunday Joint (now 25 years old) kicks in for the end of weekend party featuring our resident DJs.
